Bilkent University Library has different orientation programs for different user-groups focusing on the terms of use and the library collection and how to get the best out of the collection. The orientation programs are offered to undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students as well as external users and special visitors, and the content of an individual orientation will depend on the relevant group. Thus, whereas new students are given information about the library collection, the general rules and the catalog, Master’s and doctoral students are shown how to use of the databases. The orientation programs are given by the Reference and Faculty Librarians on demand.
