The Bilkent University Library organizes various orientations and promotional activities to introduce its services, usage rules, and collections, as well as to teach effective use of resources. These activities are customized according to the needs of different user groups. 

Library Tours and Orientations:

• Library Tours for External Users: Tours are organized for visitors from outside the university. These tours provide an overview of the library’s collections and services.
• Student Orientations: Special orientation programs are offered for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.
  • Undergraduate Students: Information is provided about the general library collection, catalog searching, collection use, library services, and rules.
  • Graduate and Doctoral Students: Training sessions are offered on database usage, advanced research techniques, and access to academic resources.

The Bilkent University Library conducts various promotional activities to inform users about service updates. Information is provided through a dedicated section in the monthly “Bilkent News” newspaper and through regular promotional activities on the library’s website and social media platforms.
