The Special Collection includes rare and valuable books, journals, maps and off-prints. This department also includes the collection of the Turkish poet Hüseyin Cöntürk. The material can be consulted between 08.30-17.00 during the week and users should contact a member of the library staff in advance. To protect the mostly old and valuable items kept in the Halil İnalcık and Special Collections, and thereby to preserve these items for future generations of Bilkent University Library users, some special rules have been designed.
