There are 48 carrels (study tables with lockable cabinets) for the use of academic staff and graduate students. These carrels are available for rent at the beginning of each semester for a fee (deposit). The cabinets are checked by library staff once a week. Any library material kept in the cabinet of a carrel must have already been borrowed. Users who wish to use a carrel should apply to the Administrative Services Office (ground floor, B-Block), and must agree to the "terms of use" on the application form. At the end of each semester, the deposit is refunded unless an extension is requested.
